Notice of Preliminary Decision by the ICAPCD to Issue Two Authority to Construct Permits to Superstition Crushing, LLC
Pursuant to Imperial County Air Pollution Control District (ICAPCD) Rules and Regulations, the Air Pollution Control Officer (APCO) has made a preliminary decision to issue an Authority to Construct Permit to Superstition Crushing LLC for the proposed project at Kiowa Helicopters, Niland, California. Proposed project will operate a portable aggregate crushing and screening facility, and a diesel fueled electric generator for a temporary basis operation. Proposed projects under ATC 4465A and ATC 4466A will operate simultaneously with DNS aggregate facility at Kiowa Helicopters under ICAPCD PTO 3850. Authority to Construct Permit No. 4465A and Authority to Construct Permit No. 4466A will include conditions to ensure that all ICAPCD requirements will be satisfied.
The Public has an opportunity to submit comments on the above proposed permits. Written comments regarding the proposed decision will be received by the ICAPCD for a period of thirty (30) days after publication of this notice. The closing date for comments will be Tuesday, March 14, 2017. The application and supporting documentation may be examined at the Air Pollution Control District Office, 150 South Ninth Street, El Centro, CA 92243.
