WIND ADVISORY

The National Weather Service has forecasted windy conditions in the Imperial County. According to the forecast, west winds ranging from 10 to 20 mph are expected this evening. Wind speeds are expected to decrease after midnight. Wind speeds between 5 and 10 mph are expected on Saturday and Sunday.

 

Please be advised that high wind levels have the potential to suspend particulate matter into the air. High levels of PM10 could pose an impact to public health and therefore it is recommended that active children and adults, and people with respiratory disease, such as asthma, limit their outdoor activities.
